Summary

Amends the

Social Security (Administration) Act 1999
to provide that: jobseekers who incur an eight week non-payment penalty for refusing suitable work will no longer be able to have the penalty waived; and jobseekers who persistently fail to comply with participation obligations will only be able to have the penalty waived once while in receipt of an activity tested income support payment.
